Hi. I'd be happy to help figure out what would work best for you individually. I'd been a long-time back sufferer, as well following a car accident, and started a back pain blog to help myself and others learn how to identify the back pain causes and find natural solutions, remedies and treatments to reduce or eliminate the pain, and find the right back pain solutions and back pain products for individual situations.

Chronic pain means that it's lasted three months or more, and it can cause other problems, as well itself because you'll over-compensate for the pain moving differently, using other body parts that can become irritated or inflamed, etc. There are quite a few different things you can do to help alleviate chronic pain besides prescription pain meds, surgery, etc. including natural and alternative self-help, natural remedies, therapies, treatment, and 100% natural products or supplements.

You need to identify the cause(s) of it first. It can be from an accident, sports injury, muscle sprain, strain, etc., awkward movement, overusing muscles not accustomed to it, lifting heavy or bulky items, a fall, etc. It will develop into more if it's left untreated. Once you identify the cause(s), you need to review what you've tried to treat it and what has not worked, or worked temporarily. Once you identify this, then it's researching the various options available to you.

Some things you can do yourself are:

* back pain exercises, back stretching exercises or back strengthening exercises (if you can). These can be very helpful, and you can even feel relief right away. I've outlined some of these here at my back pain blog Back Strengthening Exercises.

* If you don't already, take vitamin and mineral nutritional supplements daily. You could have a Vitamin D or Viamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin D can be found in small-boned fish, fortified milk, and cereal. Vitamin B12 has also been found to relieve your back pain. A significant reduction in pain and disability have been found using it, and they used less pain medication.

* Different types of therapy, which I won't go into here, but you can learn more about several of them at my back pain info blog: Stop Back Pain Cause Now/Back Pain Remedy.

* There's even breathing techniques that can help reduce chronic pain

* There are natural pain relievers you can use including Willow Bark and Capsaicin Cream

Please feel free to read the information at my blog above, and if you have any questions, please let me know. That's why I'm here! I'll do my best to help you find the right solution for you.

Take care.

Julie
