'Restricted Movement' -- Currently using LTBP & Backjoy

I have a herniated disc in L5/S1. I have been using LTBP System for 4 months and backjoy. I have seen major improvement in pain.

However, I have a 'Restricted Movement'. I cannot bend forward fully, I cannot sit cross-legged on the floor and cannot place my legs perpendicular to my torso i.e. getting into the position of doing the hamstring stretch.

My physiotherapist said this might be due to scarring affecting the nerve from the disc herniation making my nerve "tight".

Is there any I can reduce this scarring and overcome this problem? Are any food I can eat or anyother way?

Please help. I want to re-gain my mobility.

Hi Tommy

I too have trouble sitting crosslegged, extremely tight addcutor muscles my Neuromuscular Therapist says, which is weird because I used to have great flexibility from Martial Arts, but my flexibility has reduced so much, the last 3 years, as the old saying goes "Don't use it; You lost it"

Have you tried Lifezyme plus?? This helps breakdown scar tissue, if you haven't tried that then do try it, it's really good...

Also maybe you need to see a sports massage therapist that is able to breakdown the scar tissue manually through deep tissue massage and re-align the muscle fibres, but it it is scarring of the nerve, this can take a very long time to heal, as a nerve doesn't have its own blood supply like ligaments so when injuries occue in either of these they take a long time to heal due to no direct blood supply...

Tommy,
Hi, I'm Kathy, I just joined the forum tonight and have been reading some of the latest discussions.
I too have restricted movement at the top of my right leg - there are some muscles there and from the groin area that prevent me from bending enough to put my rt sock on. I ask my husband to do it for me..
I have to agree that Dan is right on with his statements. You've got to try Lifezyme -- they have a free 1 month trial at: http://gethealthy.infusionsoft.com/go/LFZM-TRIAL/KathyH/ It is all natural and is specifially meant to dissolve scar tissue and take down inflamation. Many people have had pain relief in as little as just a few days to within 2 weeks at the most!!! One guy I introduced it too, was so excited and got his tennis racket out for the first time in 8 years after just 3 weeks!!!
Also, the massage therapy can help big time, but find a massage THERAPIST that can find trigger points and knows how to work them out. It hurts at times, but wow, one can sure feel the extended flexibility!
Good Luck
